| Holistic Kabbalah - Erev Shabbat Kiddish; Friday Evening Shabbat Toast and Blessing | |
| Work
dominates our lives and communities. While work and productivity are
essential, many of us have gotten so good at it that it often becomes
hard to break the work habit and open to something greater. Judaism
offers a skillful means to break away from the work mode and enter into
the sublime – the seventh day; Shabbat. | |
| Holistic Kabbalah - Sh'ma Yisrael: Listen, Yisrael The Quintessential Jewish Mantra | |
| "Sh'ma
Yisrael; Listen, Yisrael" are the first two words of a section of the
Torah used as a centerpiece of all morning and evening Jewish prayer
services. It echoes the monotheistic message of Judaism. All is One; we
are all interconnected. We impact one another. The Sh'ma is considered
the most important prayer in Judaism, and its twice-daily recitation is
a mitzvah from Torah. | |
| Rabbi T'mimah's inspirations include Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi's teachings, an ongoing study of texts written by masters of kabbalah and merkavah mysticsm, Continuum Movement, nature, meditation, and science. |
